Chaotic Shattering is a popular ninja/reader self insert fic in the Ninjago fandom by Master-of-Chaos. It is also a crossover with Nexo Knights, another LEGO property.

It is one of few Ninjago fics to achieve nearly one million hits on any platform where Ninjago fanfiction is hosted, having 945k hits as of February 2026. It is also one of the most voted/favorited/kudos'd Ninjago fics ever made, with it having over 27k votes on Wattpad, also as of February 2026.

The story is choose your own ending, with the reader being able to choose from a variety of characters for y/n to end up with. There are also several side stories which pair the reader with much more minor Ninjago characters, being:
