TM Alexander/Tami Marie (known by many names, see sidebar) has left her mark on numerous fandoms over the past 25 years.
She is an award-winning writer, artist, zine editor and publisher (The Presses, Heart of the Matter Press, Otter Limits Press, Bodacious Press), and is the creator of the bfrksex.wav.
She also vidded under the name of Winged Cat Productions.
The below timelines are from her 2002 "fannish resume."
Alexander was a frequent collaborator with Paulie Gilmore. Occasionally, joint art was credited under the name "TAPA." [3] Gilmore and TM Alexander also created and popularized the fandom, Kiefer/Lou.
Multiple Pseuds
Like her writing partner, TM used multiple pseuds, which could lead to some confusion, as well as suggesting a crowd!
The art credits for The Choir Boys were Jung, Angi Towski, KOZ, and Seraph, three of which were TM.
In the editorial of The Boys are Back #1, April Valentine listed the credits in which three of the four names listed were TM:
Heart of the Matter Press published Robyn LaSalle's "Interludes," and Tami Marie's "Lost in the Shadows" and "The Second Power" which were inspirational and eminently satisfying in my quest to feed my obsession.... Robyn's stories, the art of Paulie and Angi Towski... they started it all.

Fiction
TM Alexander's first fan fiction story was written in 1981, a "sequel" to The Empire Strikes Back.
Her first zine fic may have been in 1986, "The Rain, Rain Go Away Affair," a Man from U.N.C.L.E. story in 11 & 2 #2.
In the editorial for Tales from the Tomato, she credits Journey's End by Rosemary C as the story that caused her to start writing Starsky and Hutch fiction.
See for the stories sorted by year.
Gen and Slash Versions
At times, Alexander wrote both gen and slash versions of stories. [4] A fan in 2013 wrote:
"The Blue Daemon is a slash Sherlock novel by TM Alexander. I bought this novel on the strength of TM Alexander's extensive writing history ranging from Sentinel, Man From Uncle to X-Files and much more. She has written gen and slash versions of her stories in the past and I have read the gen versions, because I am mainly a gen reader. [5]
Fan Casting
Alexander included some fan casting in some of her stories. One example was the series that included Achates' Quest.
In the foreword [of Achate's Quest, Robyn states this is a story of undying love, following her first zine from this series, Turn of a Friendly Card. The characters Beauxde' Ravenswood and Raimon Autumnwolf - Bodie & Doyle, by any other name - make another appearance as the leads for this zine. [6]
Another example was The Brothers Kowalski. From that zine's forward by TM:
This story incorporates a canonical fact about the Due South universe that sadly never made it to the screen. According to the official press kit for the show, Ray Kowalski was supposed to have a "successful older brother" for whom their parents showed some favoritism.
[...]
We thought it would have made for a great episode to have the brothers work out their differences, but of course, that never happened...so when we sat down to plot out The Northwest Passage Series, we agreed that one of the stories would center on The Brother Who Should Have Been.
PJ is the person who taught me about "casting" original characters with actors. For the "role" of Michael Kowalski, we went with a person who we felt bore a strong enough resemblance to Callum Keith Rennie to make it believable — and after watching him in Brimstone, we knew Peter Horton fit the bill perfectly.

The characters are of no particular universe or pairing; they were two of Rodger's favorite actors, in a setting beloved to him (Egypt). Because the drawing had not been finished before his death, it is presented here in honor of his memory, for all to see.
