Welcome to fanfic_hate!

Have you ever read a fanfic and hated it? Decided that you'll do this author a good turn, so you'll review and tell them what they could do to improve? Gotten numerous e-mails and reviews to your own fanfics telling you how much of a Nazi you are?
If 'yes' to any of these, this community is for you.
Because of course, you'll always find an author who's as wanky as the fic they've written, right?

If you want somewhere to vent about all the bad!fic, but don't want to use the review board because of the inevitable flames - this community is here to serve; Anonymous comments are allowed (encouraged, even) and IPs aren't logged, so it'll never get back to the author (or their fangirls) who's been bitching about their masterpiece.

But of course, there are rules:

• Don't accuse anybody of anything. Author bashing is allowed to a certain degree (there are times when it's called for, I suppose) but accusing so-and-so of getting up to highly illegal activities involving vats of goats' blood and a voodoo doll of Ozzy Osbourne is out. Also - try to use their internet persona if possible, if they use their real name only you can use that. Don't go telling us that they do sick things or whatever and don't bitch about how ugly you think they are.
  
• Questioning our motives is a little redundant - our motives are to bitch about bad fanfic, simple as that. Whether you think it's bad or not is irrelevant (although disagreeing with a point made - 'the writing style is too pretentious', for example - is fine). Whether you think we're evil bastards consigned to rot on level seven of Hell is also irrelevant (but very funny). So don't. Go cry to someone who cares or start up a fanfic_hate_hate community.
  
• Bitching about fanfic practises is also fine, but name names!
  
• Flaming is not allowed. You can only take so many 'OMGUSUXXORSRTINHELL!!!!1111LOLOLOL111elevemnses' before it gets old.
  
• If you're an author, I strongly suggest that you approach this community with a strong sense of humor and a thick skin. If you can't do that, then don't. approach. it. at. all.
  
• Your moderator is my_flip_side-Please don't hate me. Don't take fanfic_hate issues to my journal or e-mail, please - that's all I ask.
