In to many fandoms to count, my ADHD doesn’t let me chose one. So instead I will dabble in them all. And add in some extra weird shit to keep the goblin brain appeased.

Can we just talk about the contrast in color grading in PHM. The space scenes are filled with warm, cozy and earth tones while the Earth scenes are bleak and desaturated. Space then feels more like Grace's home because it's where he finds his purpose.

if theres one thing that really pissed me off from my 3 years of architecture i took in high school it's learning about how we used to have all these little techniques to maximize or minimize heat or warmth and now we just merrily abandoned all those to have the same copypaste style buildings everywhere that are often INCREDIBLY unoptimized to the local weather and climate so we can just throw more money at our heating and cooling bills

where i live it is hot as balls approximately 80% of the year. i do not want a massive butt-ugly grey mcmansion with a huge echoey open-concept kitchen-livingroom-foyer-diningroom-staircase that has huge windows so i can have an hvac unit the size of a barge heaving and straining to keep it at a constant 72 the grees. i want a north indian traditional style home with small windows to force the airflow to cool, decorative grates to limit the amount of sunlight, and a COURTYARD with a POND *smashes unspecified large object*

I hate learning about instances of "oh yeah we know how to do that, we just don't".

Okay, as much as I love Rocky extending Grace's life without telling him, consider: Rocky *does* tell Grace, Grace just then somehow manages to like. Horrendously misinterpret what the treatment is actually for. Like.

Eridian Doctor: We went through the human genome and found a bunch of places with old broken DNA repair mechanisms so we came up with a gene editing therapy that fixes them in order to extend your lifespan.
Grace: *flashbacks to when Rocky found out that humans can experience long term effects from lower doses of radiation exposure and Grace wasn't being as careful as he should have been back when they first met because he still thought this was gonna be a suicide mission*
Grace (internally): Oh, so cancer prevention! Got it!
Grace: Sounds good!
*like 100 years later*
Grace: Hey Rocky, how am I not dead yet?
Rocky: ???

Eridian doctor: this treatment will increase your bone density to prevent them breaking

Grace internally: Oh right, low gravity can cause bone degradation. Makes sense that after so long in space it'd be good

Grace: sounds good to me!

One modification to the LPR5 gene later

Grace falls off a cliff

Grace: Hey why didn't I break any bones???

Rocky: ??? We made your bones strong statement

They add more salt or something to the water in his enclosure so that he can still swim comfortably despite the increased density.

Jason and Dick talking about habits they had as kids and Dick brings up “you used to really like stealing our clothes, but you don’t really do it anymore.” and Jason’s like “well yeah i liked borrowing clothes from family members that were bigger than me because it made me feel safe. now if i take your shirts i’ll stretch them out.” and Dick gets really depressed for a few minutes until Jason shrugs and goes “it’s ok though, i still have some options. this cardigan is Ra’s and he’s really mad i brought it to Gotham with me.” and suddenly Dick is less sad than he is indignantly enraged because what the fuck do you mean you’re wearing Ra’s Al Ghul’s cardigans to fucking feel safe-

i just like to think about how every now and then Jason will drop tiny reminders that he was fully adopted into the Al Ghul family and views them as such and it will never fail to piss off the #1 Al Ghul hater Dick Grayson to no end.

i know like percy's canon flaw is loyalty and all that but isn't it just so interesting how he hates dionysus' guts and doesn't want to ask him for crap in ttc but then he looks at thalia and knows he can't bear to let her die for her friends again like she already did so he pushes down the resentment and begs dionysus for help. and how he refuses outright to kneel to mars at camp jupiter until frank pleads with him to and then he does. for frank. not for mars. and how he was fully and truly going to choke ahklys out and the only reason he didn't is because annabeth begged him to stop. and how he didn't want to fight in the colosseum but he did it anyway because what else was he going to do, let jason fight alone?

and you know all i'm getting at is i really think his fatal flaw is rage and the only reason he's not already gone completely insane is because he loves his friends so much and that is in fact the only thing holding him together and actually always has been!

"Y'know, I was never told your rules for hospitality, nor did I agree to them. To punish me for breaking your rules would be extremely rude of you, right? Why am I the one being labelled as inhospitable and not you?" It was a simple question, yet it being asked threw fae society into mass panic.

The hero is fighting a powerful, but strangely erratic, evil wizard. He has him on the ropes, when a younger wizard shows up, sets everything to right, and apologizes for his grandfather, who has dementia. The hero ends up helping the younger wizard care for his grandfather.

as Grace ages, his eyesight naturally gets worse and his glasses no longer help. when he offhandedly mentions his more-blurry-than-usual vision to Rocky one day, Rocky first freaks out, and then, after Grace patiently explains why human eyesight gets worse the longer a person lives, Rocky immediately consults the laptop Grace gave him. he studies the shape of various lenses, he consults images of frames, and he shares the problem with Adrian. he becomes mildly obsessed with glasses and wonders again at the oddity of the human body and the need for eyesight at all.

but after a few days, Rocky knocks on Grace’s door and behind him is a container nearly overflowing with the hundreds of glasses he’s made. there is every style Grace could possibly think of, and a few of Rocky’s own designs, all with clear xenonite lenses. what follows is hours of trying on frames and finding the most accurate lenses and joyful shenanigans, and Grace fondly thinks of the day they were trying to find a good voice for Rocky.

in the end Grace chooses one of Rocky’s designs. what else was he going to pick?

When Grace got launched into space, he was never truly gone from Earth. A piece of him still remains in the hearts of his students, the scientists he worked with....

And his appendix that Stratt keeps in a jar in her office instead of a family photo.

So a footballer can have two beautiful women but a beautiful woman can’t have two footballers?? Cowards.
