Though Hajime hadn’t knowingly sacrificed himself for Fuyuhiko, Fuyuhiko still feels indebted to him. And that means he has to take responsibility—despite Hajime insisting that no, it’s totally okay, he’s fine, that really isn’t necessary. After all, with the state Hajime is in, he’ll end up being fucked by someone eventually, and Fuyuhiko needs to make sure it’s someone that can take proper care of a wife.
- (DEAD DOVE) In Teruteru’s Island Mode ending, Teruteru talks about wanting to bring Hajime to his family’s diner. When Hajime agrees, Teruteru says his mom will be happy too, commenting (to Hajime’s confusion) that he promised her the next time he came home, he'd be bringing his future wife with him. I think about that a lot. And about Teruteru possibly drugging having drugged Hajime during his fifth free time event. And I think about both those things being brought together with some gender tf. Just some food for thought. Get it? Food? Because he's a cook!

Boku no Hero Academia - Todoroki Shouto/Bakugou Katsuki
(Anonymous) 2026-01-13 01:58 pm (UTC)(link)Bakugou gritted his teeth, trying to push through drills, but the faint steady scent of Shouto kept catching him off guard. It wasn’t sweet, exactly, just clean, cold and grounding, but it made his chest tighten in a way he didn’t like to admit.
“You’re not paying attention,” Shouto said quietly, voice calm and controlled, but there was an edge of authority, the kind Bakugou couldn’t argue with.
“I said I’m fine,” Bakugou muttered, though his instincts betrayed him. His shoulders tensed, then loosened when Shouto stepped closer, shoulder brushing his in that deliberate, quiet way.
His presence was steady, deliberate; an alpha energy without needing to announce itself. Bakugou’s ears burned, his instincts nudging him forward, wanting, needing to lean in, to close the gap he normally insisted on.
“You can relax,” Shouto murmured, hand resting lightly on Bakugou’s forearm. Not controlling, just…grounding. Bakugou’s omega instincts hummed, subtle and warm, and for the first time that day, he let himself exhale.
“Hmph,” Bakugou said, voice rough, looking away, but he stayed close anyway. His chest felt lighter, tethered, like Shouto’s presence made everything less…chaotic.
Shouto leaned his forehead to Bakugou’s temple, the faintest warmth against his skin. “I’m here,” he said, almost as if reading Bakugou’s thoughts.
Bakugou’s hands twitched at his sides. He wanted to say something, brag about how he wasn’t weak but words felt unnecessary. He let the quiet settle, letting himself lean in just a little.
And for once, it was enough…just Shouto...just safe.
