I also would love to read a fic with a more flirtatious, actually thoughtful Jay with Manny.

Sophie/Tsubasa is also a pairing I've always thought about, and I don't even know why; really, all of these pairings have crossed my mind, though I've yet to read fics starring them.

Prompts: Lucas/Nadira is my ultimate crack ship and I don't know why I like the idea of them. The Process of Creation
Lucian raised an eyebrow. "At it again, I see," he murmured, a smile touching his lips.
Across the sofa was sprawled a deeply asleep Shauntal. Notebooks and writing implements lay scattered about her. Close by, a Lampent glowed softly, acting as a sentient nightlight.
Another all-night writing session had taken its toll. Lucian knew that, when Shauntal was this deep into a project, it'd be difficult to get her to move, even for a much more comfortable bed. Even disturbing her slightly could trigger a frantic bout of proofreading and rewriting.
"I suppose I'd better let her be," Lucian mused. His hands reached for a blanket, unfolding it. "But she's got to be cold."
As he tucked the blanket around Shauntal, his hand brushed a sheaf of papers that lay loosely under one of her hands, nudging the sheets somewhat.
"No," he heard Shauntal sleepily mumble, her fingers curling protectively around the papers. "It's not..." A yawn interrupted her. "Not...finished yet...don't read..."
"Shhh," Lucian comforted, kissing the top of her head. "Go back to sleep, love. I won't read it until you're done. I promise."
He smiled as she snuggled back into place, her manuscript clutched close to her, like a favorite plush toy. Shauntal's writings were her treasure.
Lucian knew not to disrupt the process of creation. A work in progress was a sacred thing.
The end result would be worth the wait.

"Oh!" Shauntal sat up on the sofa, scattering loose sheets of paper everywhere. "Oh, my goodness!"
Caught off guard, Lucian looked up from his reading. "What is it? Are you alright, dear?"
She blinked, rubbing eyes that looked strangely alert, for all that she'd been sound asleep mere moments before. "Hmm? Oh, I'm fine. I just had a dream that fixes the plot hole in my last story. I've got to jot it down, before I forget. But I also dreamed of an amazing plot for a new novel."
"Well, that's terrific; I look forward to seeing how they both turn out. There isn't any chance of you accidentally getting them mixed up, is there," Lucian wondered.
"No," Shauntal assured him, scribbling away. "I was only a few pages away from sorting out the first piece, so I'll be able to get straight to work on the other one. This should be ready pretty soon."
Lucian grinned, settling back down with his book. Now and then, he glanced up, watching as Shauntal became absorbed in her work. Her focus was absolute as she committed the dreams she'd had to paper. Eyes glittering, she smiled to herself.
She was cute when she was abuzz with work.
