The votes are in for Week 2 and the reseults are as followed.

In Third place for Best Set we have divine_midnight with their set featuring Slovakian Hockey Player Marian Hossa.
In Second Place we have risingsun_ce with their set featuring Serbian Tennis Player Ana Ivanovic.
In First place we have jaymzalexander with their set featuring Star Trek Voyager's Captain Janeway.

Congrats to everyone, I'm so glad to see other fandoms being used, great to see Athletes being used.

In our second poll you were asked to vote for Best Representation of the color Green.

divine_midnight takes first place.

jaymzalexander lands in third place.



Everyone did great work, again I'll say that I'm very happy to see more people participating and seeing other fandoms being introduced. Please also note that I obvisouly could not list every possible fandom genre in the userinfo, but all fandoms are welcome.


A NOTE REGARDING BANNERS.

thesilentsenshi has asked me to inform everyone that she is sorry for not getting last week's banners done due to computer/internet issues. She hopes to be back up and running by Wednesday.
We have also decided that for the time being that winners of the Best Representation icons are encouraged to head over to custom_banners for their banner needs.

Don't forget to participate in our Week 3 challenge.

Week 3


Your sets this week are to represent POWER. At least one of your icons must also be completly textless, you may do more than one icon with this as a theme, however if you do not specify which one you want included in the 'Best Representation' vote, I will chose for you when it comes time to post the polls.

*Note, your icons do not necessarily have to have the theme written on them, if you feel the image still represents the theme feel free to add random text/sayings, or leave it blank. It's all still up to you as long as it can be interpreted by others as representing the theme.

All 5 icons must fit within LiveJournal's guidelines (less than 40K and no larger than 100x100)
Animated icons are welcome as well.

Voting

Week Two has officially come to a close and we have three awesome submissions this week. Voting will consist of two polls that those who have participated in this week's challenge must vote in. The first poll will be for best overall set, and the second will be for best representation of theme. This week's theme was GREEN and the overall set of 5 icons needed to represent Victory/Triumph

Very sorry for not having posted the poll lastnight. My computer has been off, there was a problem with ... well I'm not exactly sure, my roomie is the computer fixer dude. As it stand now I'm pretty sure everything is alright. I'm going to give until the end of tonight for any more submissions for Week 2. The submissions we have now are awesome! Let's get in a few more.

Week 2

So before I announce the winners of last week's challenge, I wanted to post the new challenge.

Your sets this week are to represent VICTORY/TRIUMPH. Week One Voting.

I was hoping to get at least one more entry this week, but I think we'll be fine with the three awesome submissions we have, so it's time to vote for Week 1.

Under the cut you will see the sets made by those participating in this week's challenge. There are two polls that you will need to fill out please. If you submitted icons this week, please make sure you vote, otherwise your icons will not be qualified for First/Second/Third place.

The first poll will be for overall set, all 5 icons. The second will be to determine which icon best represents one of the chosen themes. This week voters will choose which 'WTF' icon is best.
