Welcome to Fandom Fav at Live Journal; a place to find fan fiction, fan art, polls, news, fan videos and facts about fandom at large. This is a place to discuss all of your favorite fics or art in fandom. Rules are subject to change without notice.

All posts must go under a cut. No exceptions. If material is not work safe, a warning must appear in the header. If there are pairings in the fan art they must be listed in the header as well.

All pairings are accepted for fan fic and fan art. Slash and femmeslash (Yaoi and Yuri) are also permitted. Characters must be over the age of consent (usually 18 years of age) for any sort of sexual situation. No exceptions.

Rules:

1. All entries must go under an lj-cut.

2. If the story/fan art submitted has any romantic pairings, they must be a part of the header along with the title, author/artist, rating and disclaimer. If this is not observed, the entry will be deleted. Once the necessary changes have been made, the author/artist will be allowed to resubmit.

3. All entries submitted must have a proper rating. NC-17 fics/fan art are permitted, with the appropriate warning attached. If an entry is posted without warnings, it will be rejected until the necessary corrections are made. Because of what happened here at LJ, all mature fan fic and fan art must have a character age attached showing the characters involved are over the age of 18. I know they're fictional, but we don't want anyone banned over it.

4. Correct grammar and spelling are expected of all stories submitted to this community. We're not spelling and grammar Nazi's, but any stories submitted with a multitude of grammar and/or spelling mistakes will be rejected until the corrections are made. If you require a beta, let us know. We'll be happy to steer you in the right direction.




5. Chatspeak and netspeak are not permitted here. People do not say "LOL" or "OMG" in real life. Don't use it here.

6. Fics and fan art with sexual situations between an adult and a minor will not be allowed. Minors are determined to be persons under the legal age of consent, which in the United States is 18 years of age. Any fic or fan art that portrays an adult having sex or in any type of sexual situation with a minor will be rejected and a warning issued. If there is a second infraction, the member will be banned permanently from the community.

7. Any stories/fan art that contain spoilers must be labeled. No exceptions.

8. No flaming allowed. It takes a lot of courage for someone to post stories/icons/banners/fan art, so let's be kind. Constructive criticism is always welcome here. Report flamers to the mods and we'll take care of it. If the person accused is found to have flamed in the comments area of a post, they will be banned from the community.

9. Plagiarism will not be tolerated. If an entry (stories, icons, banners or fan art) is found to be plagiarized, the user will be banned from the community and their entries will be deleted.



10. We're a friendly community, so let's keep the comments nice. You may not agree with someone, but we're not here to cause wank. We're here to enjoy all things fandom related. If someone is causing trouble, bring it to the attention of the mods and they will deal with it.

11. Actor/actress stories are not permitted... not even if they're visiting an alternate reality.

12. If posting fan fiction, fan art, fan videos, icons or banners that are not your own, please obtain permission from the author/artist/icon maker before posting here. If not, provide the link back to the origin of the piece in question and make sure to credit the correct person.

13. The mods reserve the right to modify or add to the rules at any time.

Anyone banned from the community is welcome to present their case to the mods. If the banning stands, that is the final decision. Do not argue, beg or cry to the mods if your banning is not lifted.
