a. telling me about your life post etc.

b. a drawbles prompt post because i just bought myself a tablet and it should get to me in the next few days :)  it can be fandom-related (so, i'm tangentially familiar with most, but most familiar with: game of thrones, football, avatar: the last airbender, lost, a variety of films, harry potter, DOCTOR WHO OMG HOW COULD I FORGET etc) or not fandom-related; it's up to you.  it'll be like a 15-minute sketch, unless i'm ~particularly inspired (which means that they'll probably be hour-long drawings ahaha.)  and, crystal and isabel, i'm working on your au!prompts, but i'll do those by hand and mail them to you both.

LOL, I'm such a smug bitch. But I finally extracted DNA from a couple of male fruitflies, my face was like ♥___♥ when I visualized my gel.

In other, less joyous news, work has been really hectic.  Technically, it's not work since it's unpaid, but it's an unpaid 8 hours a day, and I basically come home exhausted.  I know today is going to be really long, but hopefully tomorrow will be a short day so I can go home for the weekend and celebrate Father's Day with my dad (I'm not sure what I should bake for him.  He really likes pineapple upside down cake, but I don't have pineapples D:)

Also, thank you chrryblssmninja  for all the extensive football guides.  All of my co-workers think I'm a huge store of random World Cup knowledge.

Just letting you know that I'm probably going to be really spottily online for the next few days -- getting accustomed to work and the like, and my hours are seriously constrained by my supervisor's presence -- but I will get around to checking my f-list properly.  

 I love that Sam's ~sex dream~ was basically lifted out of gay pornos.

So, I noticed this wee insect crawling around my watercolor cups, and let out the most pitiful wail my vocal chords have ever made.  Usually I'm not very scared by bugs (and lately, I have been really excited to KILL THEM ALL), and after my 30 second bout of total squeamishness, I smushed it with a paper towel.

Only now did I realize it was a baby cockroach, and now I'm panicking about having a random nesting spot of baby cockroaches in my room fkgjdfkh CRY.

HOLD ME.
