I am going to see Snow Patrol live and in concert on October 20th at The Wiltern. The tickets have already arrived. I still can't believe it. They are my favorite band and this will be my first concert. I'm so happy I could scream out loud, but the family is catching their zzz's so I will just do it through here instead: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

That "Did you mean candy serrano?" Ugh. Several people have misread my name tag at work and have called me "Candy." No offense to anyone named Candy, but it sounds like porn/stripper name.

Not many people make 1440x900 wallpapers, but lucky for me that two of the most talented girls in the Twilight fandom do - they're all the more cooler for having been born in 1987. Oh, yeah! =D
This is my "new" vintage market bag that I bought from a seller on Etsy. It finally arrived this week and I did a happy dance when I saw the package by my front door. I'm addicted to Etsy - so much pretty stuff, just not enough moola to pay for it. *sigh*
I'm moving to the UK. As if I needed another reason to love Britain - they have universal health care! I'm two years late, but I finally saw Michael Moore's documentary, Sicko, and I want to bitchslap and scream at all of the PIGS who are getting rich by denying people health insurance and care in this country. How do they sleep at night?
EARTHQUAKE!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a small one (at least in my location), it felt like an aftershock and it just ended. It lasted a good 20 seconds or so. My heart is still beating so fast. No matter how many times I've experienced this, it's just not something you really get used to.
But, UGH, I'm going to have to anyway since I no longer subscribe to HBO. WAAAAAAAAAAH! :( In the meantime, however, I can catch the episodes (on DVD this Tuesday, WOOOHOOO!) that I missed out on due to said cancellation. And the books as well. I finally read Dead Until Dark a few weeks ago.
