Sleeping poorly is so embarrassing... sorry im grumpy I stayed up past my bedtime. Like a toddler
this is killing me
this morning when i woke up i had sleep paralysis so to pass the time i pretended that i was battling an invisible wizard who had cast an immobilising spell on me, and i focused on this wizard and thought at him "YOU HAVE NO POWER HERE" in a really loud mental voice, and as soon as i did that the paralysis went away like literally immediately
I defeated the wizard
Here’s dril’s candles on a graph for reference.
It’s easy to look at these and assume “well, high crime cities need more police,” but i think that’s putting the cart before the horse.
Police make crime worse.
Police take fiscal oxygen out of the room, away from actual social support programs. The money spent on policing could go to housing, nutritional services, healthcare, civil rights, building inspections, labor rights enforcement, street maintenance, public transportation. But it goes to paying guys to sit around idling Ford Explorers all day and hitting poor people with sticks.
beyond f*cked up what disney is doing in the indiana jones franchise considering harrison ford's advanced age
My parents have only wanted me to be one thing: happy. Whether your child is autistic or not, don't push your wants onto them. I see this sentiment go around often:
If you're not ready to have a disabled, neurodivergent, or a queer child, then don't have children.
I would like to change that. If you're not ready to ACCEPT a disabled, neurodivergent or queer child then don't have children. My parents probably weren't ready for me, but they accepted me, loved me, gave me the love and guidance I needed. That's what was important.
When I was in 5th grade a girl told me that “black boys couldn’t be pretty” it took me a long time to see something worthwhile in the mirror
If you're wondering what the clothing from this line looks like, I think the campaign actually captured it pretty well.
If you're wondering whether all advertising from this company is this horny, all signs point to "Yes."
i wonder what they're gossiping about
had to draw them
@animals-with-fan-art do you have these divas yet?
I do, but who says we can only bask in their glory once?
Seeing game devs take a "the customer is always right" approach to feedback is so sad because like I get it from a PR perspective, but…
1) The customer is always wrong
2) Your customers are gamers, so they're twice as wrong
