Zachary "Zach" Wilson is a developer who worked at Bethesda Softworks on Fallout 76 as a level designer. He also worked on Fallout Shelter as an additional writer.
Career[edit]
Fallout Series[edit]
For Fallout 76, Wilson created the Unusual Pipe random encounter and the Pipe... note, introduced in the Wastelanders update. He described the random encounter as "some nonsense [he] made at 8PM on a Wednesday at the end of the project when no one was looking," yet also called it his most successful contribution to gaming.[Dev 1] He also wrote the Liam Hornwright's workstation terminal at Vault-Tec University, which includes a reference to his late dog Riley.[Dev 2]
