An event that occurred in Vault 33's past that led to the death of several Vault 33 dwellers, including Chet's father.[1] Davey mentions he lost the Overseer election to Hank MacLean after the Weevil Famine,[2] and Overseer Betty Pearson would later attempt to remind agitated Vault Dwellers of the Weevil Famine, only for Reg McPhee to exclaim that he is tired of hearing about the Weevil Famine, to which other residents agreed.[3]
