“I don't know who you are, but I'm glad you're here to help us. My name is Vidya, I guess I'm the town doctor. If you're hurt, I can heal you at no charge.”
Vidya is the doctor of the town of Carbon in Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel.
Background[edit]
Vidya is a former member of the Followers of the Apocalypse.[1] She states that things "didn't work out" with them, and now serves as the Carbon's town doctor with her medical training.[1] Though resources are scarce, she helps the townspeople in any way she can.[Pub 1]
Publications[edit]
“Vidya is the closest thing to a good and decent person you’ll find in the town of Carbon. She adopted the role of a post-apocalyptic relief worker, using scant resources to help the townspeople in any way she can, regardless of whether or not they are grateful for her attentions.”— Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel Manual
“The good doctor of Carbon is a beleaguered soul, what with all the injuries she must treat due to the Raider presence. Never mind that her supply of drugs keeps disappearing into the hands of pill-poppers looking to forget their woes, even for an hour.”— Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel Official Strategy Guide
