(Redirected from VR pod)
VR Pods are world objects in the Fallout Series.
Background[edit]
The pod consists of a chair facing a screen, with hardware and wires running within and out the back. Pods in Vault 112 use a Think Machine 3600r mainframe.[1] Civilian versions have built-in security protocols enabled, whereas military variants do not.[2][3]
Memory Loungers are the tool the Memory Den uses to provide its clients with the ability to relive their memories, which are transmitted between their brains and loungers' computers.[4] The exact origin of the loungers is unknown, and something Irma wants to keep a secret,[5]

Stanislaus Braun: "I CAN'T reset it, don't you see? The failsafe disabled the security protocols. They're all dead. For good!"

Protector McGraw:"It's the liberation of Anchorage, Alaska from Chinese Communists. It was a pretty significant event in American history, according to our Scribe. I won't lie to you. It's heavy combat -- safety protocols disengaged. That means you die in the sim... your body goes into massive cardiac arrest."
