Usage[edit]
The {{Faction}} template is used to retrieve metadata about known factions in the wiki, such as their color code, display name, long name, link target, or userbox text.
This template invokes Module:Faction and pulls data from Module:Faction/data and supports multiple modes of output.
Syntax[edit]
{{Faction|<faction key>|mode=<mode>}}Parameters[edit]
1– The faction's key (e.g.,NCR,BoS,CaesarsLegion).mode– Which type of data to return. Valid values are:color– The hex color code associated with the faction.name– The short name of the faction.long– The long-form name of the faction.link– The article title the name should link to.userbox– A sentence fragment suitable for use in a userbox.
If no mode is specified, it defaults to name.
