Raul Armor is a piece of clothing worn by Raul Tejada in Fallout: New Vegas.

Background[edit]

A pre-War outfit that Raul found in a costume shop and described as his calling card, referring to himself as the "zombie vaquero of Mexico City."[1] He also used this outfit to make his sister laugh.[2]

Gameplay[edit]

The outfit consists of a sombrero with tie together chin strap, a red bandana, brown chaps over dark gray pants, a brown jacket with a single pauldron over the left shoulder, an unsheathed dagger and two bandoleers around the waist and a pair of cowboy boots with ringed spurs.

Location[edit]

This outfit can be unlocked for Raul in the unmarked quest Old School Ghoul.

Notes[edit]

The outfit is labeled "Vaquero outfit" in concept art.[3]

  1. Courier: "Where'd you get that Vaquero outfit?"
Raul Tejada: "I found it in a costume shop. It was sort of my calling card, you know? "Raul the Ghoul, the zombie vaquero of Mexico City."

  2. Courier: "Sounds pretty bad."
Raul Tejada: "You're a poet of understatement, boss. But there were moments it was almost worth it. I still remember finding that novelty costume shop. I was just looking for something I could slice up to wrap my burns when I saw the vaquero outfit hanging on the rack, like it hadn't been touched. I took it - not like anybody else needed it, you know? - and wore it back to our camp. Rafaela laughed for the first time since the bombs had fallen."
