On October 23, 2077, he reported on the high number of reservations that the Vault-Tec Corporation were receiving for their vault shelters, with the rising tensions between the United States and China boiling to the brink of war. He mentions current events of the ongoing conflict overseas, such as reporting the status of the 5th Infantry in Mambajao.
At the onset of the Great War, he gave an emergency broadcast and rolling coverage of the nuclear detonations occurring throughout the country to the American public. After informing the population that the states of New York and Pennsylvania had been hit, the broadcast either came to an end immediately after or temporarily cut out until the next round of information.
“Followed by... yes, followed by flashes. Blinding flashes. Sounds of explosions... We're... we're trying to get confirmation... But we seem to have lost contact with our affiliate stations... W-We do have- we do have... We do have coming in... That's um... confirmed reports. I repeat, confirmed reports of nuclear detonations in New York and Pennsylvania. My God.”
After that, a standby screen will be shown on the TV.
"On the Island of Mambajao the nights are cold. Unseasonably so for Southeast Asia. But for the 5th Infantry, that's as comfortable as an Autumn jamboree."
"Vault-Tec announced a continuation of their popular "Welcome Home" promotion. They report openings are still available in area Vaults 81, 111, and 114."
"Since debuting Vault 76 last year, in honor of America's Tercentenary, Vault-Tec continues to expand with plans for well over 100 Vaults around the country."
"With diplomacy all but suspended, and conventional warfare taking a historic toll on both sides, many have wondered if the good old U-S-of-A hasn't finally entered into a fight it just can't win."
The dialogue line "Something that is, unquestionably, inescapably, American. I am referring of course, to our great national pastime, baseball." is exactly the same as spoken by President John Henry Eden on Enclave Radio in Fallout 3.
