someguy2000 is a mod developer for Fallout: New Vegas who is most famous for the New Vegas Bounties quest mod series.
Career[edit]
Someguy2000 got into modding by tinkering with the developer tools for Fallout 3 and Oblivion after playing those games with mods. He specifically mentioned Puce Moose's mods as well as Verona House Bloodlines.[Ext 1]
New Vegas Bounties Series[edit]
Bounty hunting became an interest for someguy2000 when he encountered the Regulators in Fallout 3, and when he played the Fallout: New Vegas quest Three-Card Bounty, which inspired him to expand the concept and make it available for players of any faction.[Ext 2] Three-Card Bounty inspired him to give a bit of backstory for each target to give some context for the violence. He mentioned Spaghetti Western films such as For a Few Dollars More inspired the first two parts of the New Vegas Bounties Series. with 'anti-westerns' such as The Great Silence inspiring the third part of the series.[Ext 1]
SomeRooster Era[edit]
Someguy2000 deleted his Nexus Mod account May, 2024. He created a new Nexus account that month and release several mods in 2024. He stated that he wanted a clean slate, and some distance from the Someguy Series so he could make small mods without the added scrutiny.[Ext 3] Someguy2000 returned under the moniker SomeRooster, and release several mods starting in June 2024.
