The Mega Mansions are locations in Fallout 76.
Background[edit]
Consisting of the Garrahan Estate, Hornwright Estate and the Unfinished Mansion, these buildings were constructed by the Garrahan Mining Company,[Pub 1] and are distinctive landmarks in the Ash Heap and Savage Divide regions of Appalachia.
The Mega Mansions caused resentment among working-class miners as their owners pushed for automation, resulting in high unemployment across the region. Eventually, those impacted by automation began targeting the structures in response to losing their jobs, subsequently destroying an unoccupied Mega Mansion in Bramwell with mining equipment and explosives.[1] The buildings were also featured in tabloids accusing the structures of improperly using technology.[2]
