Levels are the Player Character's measure of progress within the SPECIAL character system in Fallout 3.
Gameplay[edit]
Levels are a quantifiable measure of experience and abilities. They are determined by the number of Experience Points the player character has earned throughout the game's events. Each time the player character levels up, they have the option to modify skills. They can also gain special perks. Therefore, the player character becomes more equipped to navigate challenges with each level gained. The level cap is 20, and 30 with the Broken Steel add-on.

Bugs[edit]
- There may be a glitch that will not let you keep your perks after level 30.
- Levels 20-29 will all register as Last, Best Hope of Humanity for a good Karma player character in the Pip-Boy Stats screen.
