Kurisu is a tribal in 2241, who would later become leader of the Blackfoot tribe in 2253.

Background[edit]

Kurisu is a young tribal girl kidnapped by slavers. She is also the sister of Sulik, a tribal warrior. Although Sulik's quest was to find her, he never did. She somehow appeared many years later somewhere in the Southwest, becoming the leader of the Blackfoot tribe.

Other interactions[edit]

  • The Chosen One and Sulik were meant to search for the latter's sister, who had been kidnapped by slavers. However, this quest was cut and the slave camp along with Kurisu herself is nowhere to be found.
  • The Prisoner can make her a companion if they convince her to leave her tribe. This is only possible if there is a backup leader, such as Chagas, available for the tribe.

Appearances[edit]

Kurisu first appeared in Fallout 2, but was not given a name. She was initially meant to be found in the game, but this quest was eventually left unfinished and Kurisu is unused in the final version. She also was to appear in Black Isle's canceled Fallout 3 project (Van Buren) as a joinable ally.[Doc 1] She can be spawned in the Van Buren Tech Demo by using the console command CreateEntity CrittersCNPC_Kurisu.crt

Behind the Scenes[edit]

  • Her name was revealed in the Van Buren leaks. Sean K. Reynolds said that the name Kurisu is a joke concerning Avellone's first name: "Chris" is pronounced クリス (Kurisu) when translated into Japanese.[Dev 1]
  • Sean K. Reynolds worked on Kurisu and the Blackfoots.[Dev 2]
