Kanawa was a member of the U.S. Army.
Background[edit]
Kanawa was a member of Staff Sergeant Michael Daly's squad. On October 23, 2077, the squad was en route to West Stockbridge. Near Concord, the vertibird carrying the squad crashed as a result of the nuclear bombs that struck the Greater Boston area.
The craft subsequently crashed into the roof of the Museum of Freedom. The co-pilot died on impact, while the pilot died from his injuries a day later. The following day both Kanawa and Flaherty were shot and killed by panicked survivors.[1]
