Josh Jay is an artist who worked at Bethesda Softworks on Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 as a world artist. In the updated credits for Skyline Valley, he was listed as an additional world artist.

Career[edit]

Jay started at Bethesda in 2012 on Fallout 4's pre-production.[Ext 1]

Fallout Series[edit]

Jay is credited as a world artist for both Fallout 4 and Fallout 76.[1] He designed several pieces of technology present in the games, such as the Vault Star super reactor, as well as the Black Rider, War Rider and other power armor skins in Fallout 76. He also worked on assets used in Fallout 4 Vaults, and the Yangtze submarine. He also created assets for the Cranberry Bog, The Mire, and Missile Silos.[Ext 2]

He created the Red Rocket assets as one of his first contributions, based on concept art by Istvan Pely.[Ext 1]

Ray Lederer gave Jay credit for the blueprint background on the Fallout 4 Vault-Tec Workshop cover art.[Ext 3]
