Jason Bergman is a developer who worked as a senior producer at Bethesda Softworks and oversaw the production of Obsidian Entertainment's Fallout: New Vegas. He is credited as Sr. Partner Engagement Manager on Fallout 76 as of the Skyline Valley update.
Biography[edit]
Bergman graduated from Pace University with a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy/Religious Studies in 1999. He graduated from The New School with a Master of Arts in Media Studies in 2014.[Ext 1]
Career[edit]
Prior to joining Bethesda in 2009, Bergman worked at 2K Games from 2004 to 2009, first as a PR Manager and later as a producer. Bergman worked at Bethesda from 2009 to 2021, when he left to work at Gearbox.[Ext 1]
Fallout Series[edit]
For Fallout: New Vegas, Bergman was a producer who worked with Obsidian on concepts and general directions for the game and DLC, and managed submissions to Microsoft, Sony and Valve for each release of the game, managed voice over recordings, and was the primary point of contact between Obsidian and Bethesda. He also came up with the concept for Meat of Champions.[Dev 1][Dev 2] He also culled a lot of Cass's dialogue, and wrote a hundred lines of Nightkin dialogue but doesn't play in-game.[Ext 2]
He also published Meet the Companions on the Playstation Blog and is included in the "Special Thanks" section of the All Roads graphic novel.[1]
