James Wilcox, Sr. was the former general manager of the Whitespring Resort who had worked there for ten years.[1]

James was responsible for the successful implementation of the "Ironclad" program which introduced robots to the resort's staff. Despite, or more likely because of, the program's success he was terminated immediately after its implementation and his duties were assumed by HM-22, also known as "Stratford."[2]
