Garret has no known background, just that he is known to be the bodyguard of the ferocious leader Set.

Quests[edit]
- Destroy the Super Mutants at the Watershed: Depending on how much Garret likes the Vault Dweller, different rewards will be received.
- Fix the Necropolis water pump: If the Vault Dweller is carrying junk, Garret will force them to repair the water pump at gunpoint.
Other interactions[edit]
Garret can be talked to, but he will barely interact with the Vault Dweller, referring them to Set in the evening. The only other thing Garret will do is give them a reward for the Super Mutant elimination task given by Set, the reward is based on how much Garret likes the Dweller. This is determined by the Charisma and positive Reputation. To establish a reaction, one has to talk to Garret between 7:00 and 18:00.
