Spoiler Policy

This page details the Independent Fallout Wiki's policy on spoilers.

Upcoming works[edit]

  • Officially released content about an upcoming work is allowed to be added. Below are examples of potential sources:
    • Information directly from Bethesda or one of their partners.
    • Datamined information.
    • Employees discussing or showing parts of the media.
    • Content shown in pre-release builds.
  • If early copies are released, information is not allowed to be published until the official release date.
  • Leaks are not allowed, including third party videos, posts, or versions.
  • All content must be appropriately referenced and placed in correct sections of articles.

Review[edit]

  • When the content releases, the templates should be removed and the content reviewed to ensure it is current and accurate.
  • For datamined content, the update should include applicable labels and categories for removed, unused, or canceled content.

Television Series[edit]

  • Spoiler template must be added to any page that contains spoilers. These templates can be removed one month after an episode's release date.

Templates[edit]

The wiki uses templates for the content outlined above.

Post-release version[edit]

  • For media that has already been released, information can be recorded as normal.
  • Spoiler warnings are not required for this content.
