A Dog Hide is a miscellaneous item in Fallout: New Vegas.
Gameplay[edit]
A dog hide is weightless and can be sold for Caps.
This item can also be turned into a leather Belt at a Workbench with a Repair skill of 5 and with the Honest Hearts add-on. This slightly increases its value from 4 to 8 caps. The resulting belts can be used for crafting Super Stimpaks and Weapon Binding Rituals.
Locations[edit]
Dog hides can only be found on the remains of dead Dogs. Most types of dogs have a 50% chance of dropping a single dog hide on death, while some larger types have a 75% chance.
