Although, for issues such as this, I doubt the efficacy of systemic reviews and metanalysis due to the extreme differences found in the "better" studies selected, these types of studies have a point and can be taken as references, although they are not guides that should be taken for granted.

This is a nice presentation, and, not surprisingly, recommends dienogest as possibly the best hormonal therapy for endometriosis after surgery and when later pregnancy is a desire. It surprises me that levonorgestrel intrauterine devices (LNG IUDs) give pain relief for peritoneal disease, and I wonder if adenomyosis was excluded or not in the groups of patients selected for this presentation.
