A very good summary and review of ultrasound techniques in the diagnosis of deep pelvic endometriosis. The article suggests that ultrasound should be the first line method of evaluation for patients with a suspicion of deep infiltrative endometriosis. This is the practice in our department. Training is vital when using these ultrasound techniques.
