Eyja Bassadóttir is a 10th century Norsewoman and skáld. I play in the SCA and do bardic and music, calligraphy, translation, costuming, nálbinding, textile arts, and as much research into the Viking Age that I can cram into my downtime.
There's also an incarnation of me that takes form of a lady from medieval Japan, Yoshima Ayame.
My journal is a combination of my research, creative writings, my everyday encounters, my SCA activities, school, work, and whatever random stuff I want to post about. Most of it is friends-locked, though my research and other random information I come across is always public, 'cause, y'know...who doesn't want to know that stuff? ;-)
