Blimey, where did February go?

Last month I wrote something about the Big Green Bookshop. Last week Simon told me that actually things are worse than I thought and they're only a tiny step away from going out of business altogether, and that would be a crying shame. I've already asked on FB and twitter, and so have lots of other people (thanks Sue and Shezza) but it doesn't hurt to ask everywhere.

Their 3rd anniversary is 8th March and they're asking that everyone who can afford it buys just one book (or more if you can, obviously) from The Big Green Bookshop between 6th and 12th March, and help to guarantee its survival.

Simon's blog post is here, and it's good:

The shop is here:

Their reccommendations section (Simon likes, Tim likes etc) is good, I've found some cracking reads there.
grrr!

telly

The Wire:

So, series one was great. Series two wasn't. Series three was. What is in store for series 4?

True Blood:

Series one was great. Series two not enough Eric by a mile, too much Ensign Ro off Star Trek & wavy arm orgies, too short.

Glee: excellent, make more quicker!
grrr!

three things

1) Animals: Manatees are really nice. So are turtles. Sharks feel rough. Spotted eagle rays are AWESOME. Toucans are very nosy.

2) People: As they are a nation so obsessed with teeth I find it weird that Americans are the most unsmiling bunch of people I've ever encountered.

3) Places: Belize is really lovely. It's Caribbean at the sea and Central American inland. Really nice people, decent food, lovely beaches, excellent jungle with crocodiles and iguanas and birds, lots of Mayan stuff, everyone totally relaxed and calm. Best snorkeling I've done ever, excellent offshore coral reef with sharks, rays, zillions of fish, turtles (right there, a foot away) a moray eel!

I'm baaaack. No idea what time it is or day, actually. Feel slightly sick cos the last thing I ate was some plastic American food.
Got to stay awake so am having a look through pictures.

What's been happening?
