Version 4.0 of eXeLearning represents a major renewal of the tool, with a new technological foundation that improves performance and stability, more convenient and integrated file management for organizing images and other resources, accessibility improvements to create more inclusive materials, enhancements to iDevices and interactive activity creation, and more reliable export options compatible with educational platforms such as Moodle. Overall, this version makes it easier to create, organize, and publish digital educational content in a more agile and efficient way.
Yes, there is a desktop version of eXe that you can download to work locally from your computer. In the Downloads section, you’ll find the links according to your operating system.
Yes, you can open a resource created with eXeLearning 2 or eXeLearning 3+ in eXeLearning 4+ without any problem. However, please note that the design and layout may change slightly due to the new interface and visual improvements. However, content created with newer versions cannot be edited with older ones.
In any case, it is recommended to keep a backup copy of the original file before editing it with the new version, in case you want to go back.
In the cloud version of eXeLearning, collaborative work allows multiple users to edit the same project simultaneously, making it easier to jointly create educational content in real time. If you are working in an instance of eXe cloud, you can share content via a link with other users within the same network.
Yes, you can install the cloud version of eXeLearning on your own computer, although it requires technical knowledge. This installation is more complex than the desktop version and is intended for users with experience in server configuration and web environments.
No, styles created for version 2.9 and earlier cannot be used in eXeLearning 4+. In version 4+, only styles specifically created for this version can be imported.
