If I were a person who cursed I would be cursing right now. Rrrgh! So frustrated! There are almost no authors still writing in my old favorite fandoms anymore. They've all grown up and stopped writing, moved to original fiction, or moved on to newer fandoms. Today my frustration is over the abandonment of Rurouni Kenshin.
It may just be me but I feel that many of the best authors in particular are fading out of the fanfiction scene. Aryanne, Istoria, Linay, Adamant Eve aka anna-neko, Iram, Jane Drew, Indygodusk, Dragonsdaughter, KC Evans, JouChan13, and Zeh Wolf have all not updated yet this year at least, just to name a few. That doesn't even count those who've switched fandoms or are barely hanging on. Many writers of the first epic Rurouni Kenshin fics I gave up on a long time ago. Even the talented new writer chickentyrant5 has stopped writing.
Someone tell me there's an active Rurouni Kenshin fan community still out there somewhere!

School is going okay, except for a coming up Environmental Science final, and some fights with some of the girls there. Bitches. Also got my molars out yesterday.
