i miss wet france and its clown court
idk man sometimes i like it when video game writers are allowed to plan a series of events that happen in a specific order and affect each other in turn to become an overarching narrative, and i don’t mind trusting those writers to take me through those events in the order that is emotionally effective. i don’t really care if a game forces me to go through the forest area first before i can attempt the icy area because maybe there’s things that happen in the forest area that inform later scenes in the icy area. maybe we don't need more superficial player choice open world concepts if it comes at the cost of the ability to write a story with actual significant plot events and character development in each section
"I love you , I'm glad we're friends"
i want devices that are functional and hardy and i want them to last and fuck the rest of the shit i dont need. my ds and 3ds can lie in sleep mode for months if not years and i can pop them open and they've still got two or three bars left. my old phones in high school could go days without a charge. if i leave my nintendo switch on the floor for a few days doing absolutely fuck all nothing i will turn it on and it will cry to me mother i am dying. i am dying mother. and i tell him he'll never be half the man his brother was and he can't hear me because he's dead

why cant i read a book and watch a movie and play a game and clean all at the same time
So I have thought long and hard about 'is it really ok to wear my american flag shirt and celebrate America's 250th birthday on July 4 with how shit the country is now?'
And I have finally come to an answer: Yes, it is ok to celebrate America's 250th. Because the shit state of the country now does NOT suddenly completely invalidate every good thing that happened in those 250 years.
I can celebrate America's 250th birthday while acknowledging that the country is in a shit state now.
