We've moved: new office location: Our permit services office has moved to the 2nd floor of the Everett Municipal Building at 2930 Wetmore Avenue. The permit counter officially opens to the public on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
2024 Building Code Adoption: The Washington State Building Code Council has approved a motion to delay the implementation date of the 2024 Washington State Building Codes until May 3, 2027.
New Critical Area Regulations Coming June 1: The City Council is currently considering a major update to critical area regulations, which will affect development applications received after the effective date of June 1, 2026.
