It's a little bit funny

That I can actually still write a message here.  Long ago, or so it seems, this was my happy place where I wrote my reviews and interpretations of the show Supernatural.  Now, of course the show has ended and the idea of discussing a TV program the night it airs has become rare since everyone streams.

To me, it is hard to comprehend that in one decade the way we view entertainment has changed that rapidly.

And it is hard to accept that online life doesn't actually include people you know or people you can correspond to.  The algorithms don't support it anymore.  On Instagram I don't really see the people I know much.  They pop up from time to time, but maybe 30% of the time. I think most of the people I knew here left.  I quite facebook for all of the above reasons.

All I an say is....I wonder what is next.

I like Supernatural, but I've found a new love.

I haven’t really commented on the Supernatural Season finale.  I was okay with it.  I don’t have strong feelings either way with Dean becoming a demon.  I just worry that that writers will throw away the potential to make it a great story.  Dean should now be a knight of hell.  He should be stronger than Crowley.  But let’s face it, the writers will probably have Crowley using Dean as his personal servant.  Now I get that Dean might be vulnerable to manipulation by Crowley all based on Dean’s low self-worth.  I can believe that if it was written well.  However, I worry that the writers will just have Crowley be stronger with no explanation (I mean, he’s a 400 year old demon…that’s not all that old).  I also wonder if the writers will do anything more since the introduction of his son Gavin?
As for Sam and Castiel.  Who knows?  Naturally they’ve poised Cas to love Dean, but that ship will never sail.  And Sam, the one with the demon blood who has vesseled not one but two angels?  Who knows….

I’ve sort of lost faith in what will happen.  I watch and enjoy it week to week (except what happened with the REAPER Tessa and that disgraceful angel side story of doom) and don’t really ponder it much further.  This is how I enjoy the show Grimm also. And I’m okay with this.

My new current joy is the Marvel Universe. I’m really pleased with how the writers have fashioned movies from the comics.  I started with Iron Man and then the Thor movies, but it wasn’t until the Captain America movies that I really started to connect all of them together.  Now I have a new love!
