At the moment I'm just lusting after it. There's a bike store sort-of-nearby that stocks a bunch of folding bikes, including that one.

The basement storage situation is pretty bad—keeping a bike down there would involve going down a narrow set of stairs, ducking under a low and narrow archway, messing with a padlock, messing with the padlock again, getting the bike through the archway, up the narrow stairs, around a corner, and finally through two doors and down a few steps to the street. There are also huge cockroaches down there. The other building residents store bikes in the basement, but from their obscenely pristine condition it's clear that they never ride them and don't actually have to deal with getting them up and down. The sidewalk isn't a good option since Center City is plagued by bike thieves. A folding bike would have the additional advantage that I could fold it and drop it in a shopping cart, which wouldn't take any more time than locking and unlocking it.
