Passage - Connie Willis: Connie Willis books are always a win, but I really wish this kinda heavy novel had actually mentioned that it features a main character with Alzheimer's in the blurb. That surprise didn't come at the best of times for me.
Smoke and Ashes - Tanya Huff: Fluff. Fluff with a gay male hero and vampires and demons, but still. Not that fluff is a bad thing, and clearly, as third in the series, I found it worth reading.
Sheepfarmer's Daughter - Elizabeth Moon: Meh. But it was free.
