Ta-dah! first post!

Because what I should be doing is CLEARLY not organizing my portfolio so I have time to print it and I dont have a panic attack next tuesday, I'm going to make my first LJ post! whooo!

 I still don't know what I'm going to do with this blog. I may start just posting art to keep track of it since my Tumblr is a mess of fandom and queer activism and it'd just get lost in the current of stuff, but here seems quiet enough to try.

 Plus, I'm going to finally stop being so shy and start friending all the awesome LJ artists I like, instead of just lurking their journals and crying into my ice cream because we're not friends or something.

 Besides, if I feel like someone is watching, perhaps that'll encourage me to work more on the computer. I don't need encouragement to sketch but I very rarely take anything from my sketchbook and colour it, either with inks and watercolours nor on my laptop with my tablet(Wacom intuos4 small)

OK, so... I don't know what else to say... I guess a short intro?
 I'm Aleksander C. R. I'm male, twenty-two years old and I unfortunately live in Venezuela(which means I speak fluent Spanish just FYI). I want to be an artist/illustrator but I constantly have to battle feelings of artistic inadequacy and hopefully this LJ will help with that.

 Also, I'm super duper queer. so raise that rainbow flag and all that jazz. :)
