Started writing again...

The Corpse

Each time I held her in my arms

she became a little colder

I tried to revive her

but still she said nothing

Her eyes became dull and distant

and her breath soured from within

The sounds that came from her throat

were cruel & spiteful

She looks at me

face hardened with contempt and disgust

any and all former affections

were dead and gone

Don’t get up upset

Just accept it

Just leave
