Hmmm... I am, shall we say, Heinz 57. My friends like to joke that I am a walking hate crime waiting to happen.
Heritage: I'm of mixed ethnic heritage. I'm mostly Irish and Romani. Wanna talk about two groups of people regularly beaten upon... I was raised by my mother's very proud Irish family. They had no clue what my Romani heritage meant, other than I was browner and fuzzier than the rest of the Clan.
Religion and Spirituality: I am a Jew by choice. I was raised vaguely Roman Catholic. Other than my Atheist mother, my family is a bunch of cafeteria Catholics. That is, Catholics that take the parts they like and ignore the rest. I spent quite a few years at spiritual loose ends; wandering through many flavors of Christianity, Paganism, New Agieness and Buddhism. Torah service is home in a way that Mass never accomplished. I have always been fascinated with the possibilities inherent in the human soul. Religion is merely one way to seek into these possibilities, the occult is another. I am an explorer into The Great Work and Ritual Magick. I don't see this as contradictory to my religious views. It is complimentary to them.
Other: I am a geek. I play role-playing games, read sci-fi/fantasy and think about Star Wars alot. I'm also a cross-dressing, kinky lesbian. These things destine me for rarely getting a date.
Work: I work for InterContinental Hotels Group, My desk is in one of their central reservations offices, but I don't work for the central reservations office. I work for a global team that supports the company's unique hotel products. In other words, I fix stuff and answer other people's questions all day.
