Hello? Anyone still out there? *bangs on computer screen*

Been a long time, huh?

So, I've been gone from this community for a while (but I do miss it), and still plan on coming back some day, finishing off my stories, writing new plots I have rummaging around in my head, etc. But for now- life. Stupid busy life with WORK and business and stuff that keeps me away from enjoying hobbies. :(

Anyway, reason I'm here. I have just bought a new phone. It's my first BIG phone, with fancy features and apps and bluetooth, etc. And it's still relatively new (not years out of date when I eventually buy it brand new). It's a Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

And I was thinking, for my first fancy phone that does other things than just calls and texts, I should get a fancy cover for it too. And there are places online that can custom make cases with pictures of your choosing on them. AMAZING!

So, how better to celebrate my new phone than to bring Erestor and Glorfindel along for the ride too!?

I was wondering if anyone out there would like to help me with this? I'd really like a new picture, made with the artist's knowledge that the picture will be used for this purpose. I am happy to pay the artist for their work, or maybe gift them with a phone cover for their mobile as well, etc. I'm happy to work out the details.

Due to the phone's measurements (size: 153.5mm x 78.6mm), it's better to be a taller image (though a long one would be fine too). However, as you can see from the sample photo below, the camera up the top does cut out a portion of the image as well.


I don't mind the image being tender/saucy/erotic, but nothing too explicit. I do need to take this out in public (and at work :p ).

Anyone willing to try?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a Glorfindel/Erestor fic that featured Erestor babysitting little!Estel, who was adorable and rather pudgy from all the sweets Erestor let him have, and he was dreadfully attached to our favourite Chief Councillor and skipped training with Glorfindel to read with Erestor and demanded bedtime stories and then developed a huge crush on Erestor, and Arwen tells him to challenge Glorfindel to a duel for Erestor. So several years later when Estel is a young man, he does challenge Glorfindel, and the Balrog-slayer is incredibly hung over at the time and gets distracted by Erestor showing up and actually loses, but Erestor ignores the whole duel thing and carts Glorfindel off.

Also, I recently discovered the awesomeness that is Glorfindel/Erestor and have gone through all the fics at AO3, Of Elves and Men, and the Library of Moria. Are there any more archives I can raid, and does anyone have any more recs? :)

Hi all! Not sure if this is allowed but...

There's an Erestor/Glorfindel fic that I've been seeking for ages! I believe the plot goes something like this: Glorfindel and Erestor have played chess (or some other game, not entirely sure here) and have done so every night for awhile. Somehow, it is revealed that Glorfindel has been a virgin all of his second life because he had bad sex (not rape, just bad sex) with someone previously and decided it wasn't worth pursuing. Erestor proves to him otherwise.

Hi everyone,

I do apologise for the lateness of this year's results. I seem to have lost contact with one of my judges and can't get her results. I'll give her two more weeks before the results are announced, unfortunately without her input, if she remains incommunicado.

In the meantime, I shall open up the polls for the fans' choices. After trialling several polls, I have decided yahoo group polls are the easiest to use and set up. So, on the Glorestor Yahoo group, http://au.groups.yahoo.com/group/g… you will find the polls. Anyone can join, and everyone is permitted one vote per poll, so use your vote wisely.

First, there is a poll each for the best art and best fanfiction entry. These results shall then be incorporated with the judges decisions, making up 20% of the overall outcome, and thus the winners shall be announced.

Secondly, there is a Fans' Choice for art and fanfiction entries. The results shall be made up entirely out of the polls' outcomes. These polls are not necessarily for the 'best', (though you are welcome to vote exactly the same way you did with the previous poll), but could also be to encourage those that tried hard, but their entry may not have been up to the standards of others, or you could support your friend's entry, or however you like it. These polls are entirely up to the fans- IT'S YOUR CHOICE!

Polls will be open for TWO WEEKS. (Until October 27th).
