Due to past circumstances, I am a bit persnickety about granting access to strangers but I do love new friends, so comment to introduce yourself!
However, there are some things you should know about me before you click that button.
1) I am very emotional and I totally suck at keeping things to myself. I feel things deeply and by golly I'm gonna tell ya all about it, good or bad. I get very enthusiastic about things I like--yes, I'm a fangirl. I use "lolz" and "squee" and "OMG" a lot, and I tell my Friends I adore them with size ten red font. I'm also mood swingy and just as liable to post tales of gloom, despair, and agony on me whoa! It's my LJ and I'll emote if I want to. If you can't handle large amounts of said squee and emo, this is not the place for you. I also cuss entirely too much. And write in choppy sentences that often start with "and."
2) I personally am really rather boring. I work at home and when I go out it's to go to the grocer, the feed store, or the gas station. Exciting life stories are not a regular feature of this journal. Neither is witty or profound exposition. *yawn* That's me. Move along.
3) While occasionally I get lucky, about 98% of the photos I post are fair-to-middling cuz I lack mad photography skillz. If you're here because you saw the three pictures I posted public a few years back and think there's more like that here, you might be disappointed. Just saying.
4) If you are only here because you read a fic I wrote...I don't write fic anymore and there is none archived here. Sorry. :(
5) I don't talk about gay subjects 24/7 but I am bisexual, a slasher, and a gay rights proponent, and if you're homophobic you will not be comfortable here. You can peddle your bigotry elsewhere. Good day, sir.
