Title: War and Passion

Summary: Harry tries to stay away from Ginny for her own safety, but the passion between them could prove too much to deny.
Excerpt: Harry Potter lay awake. The other boys in his dormitory could be heard snoring or, in Ron’s case tossing and turning, in what was obviously another nightmare. This only served to upset Harry more. He knew full well the reasons for Ron’s nightmares. It was Harry’s fault he had them. If Ron hadn’t been with him the day they had been kidnapped from Diagon Alley, he wouldn’t be having nightmares. Ron had paid one hell of a price for being Harry’s friend, which, is exactly why he should not be lying awake thinking of Ginny.
Rating: NC-17
Reason: A fantastic AU story that is so well written and has incredible characterisation, you can't help but read it from beginning to end.

Excerpt: Ron Weasley lay spread across his bed. His long legs practically dangled off the end of it. He shifted, and the mattress groaned under his weight. He sighed irritably. He had gained even more weight over the past year, and his little bed at the Burrow just wasn’t cutting it anymore. He had a hard enough time getting to sleep, and this only added to his problems.
He sprang out of bed and rummaged through his trunk until he found a bottle of Ogden’s Fire Whiskey. Harry didn’t know that he still drank occasionally, so he kept it hidden in the bottom compartment.

Reason: Another fantastic story by RedBlaze, and the Ron/Hermione companion piece to War and Passion. Need I say more?

Okay, so we all know about the ensuing wank caused by the deletion of several journals/communities. Now whilst some of these promoted/supported some very vile issues, some had these interests listed as a warning to people who were reading the fiction posted in these comms.

So, I would like to re-itterate (and extend) my sticky post in the group, and clairfy that:

- Under NO circumstances will fics with rape/incest/beastiality/necrophelia, etc be posted in this community. Yes, this rule was in place well before the current upheaval occured. These sorts of fics squick me and I won't post them/allowed them to be posted here. Even if it means I have to subject myself to every possible squick imaginable.
- This is my community, and I can allow or disallow stories for not following the guidelines in the community guidelines.
- Any flames/bitching/etc coming from a rejection of a story will be deleted and you will be banned from posting here, and watching this community.
- ALL stories must have their appropriate RATING. Meaning, G, PG, PG-13, R, NC-17, etc. Proper warnings for explcit language, smut, angst, etc must also be put into the story header.

The above information will be posted into the community profile as soon as LJ lets me edit the community profile. EDIT: This has been done.

Title: Letters From Molly
Author: gracierose
Summary: How does a woman say goodbye to those she holds dear? As Molly Weasley enters the last days of her life, this is the question she asks herself, and decides the best way is through letters. Explore the lives of Arthur and the Weasley children through the eyes of Molly.
Excerpt: "There is so much I want to tell the kids before I go. I know I can't tell them with my voice, so I am going to write them each a letter. It's something they will be able to treasure so much more than any words I would speak." Taking a deep breath, Arthur struggled to fight back tears at hearing his wife so ready for death. He patted her hand and stood. "I'll leave you to it then my dear. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you."
Reason: This is a truly beautiful story, and damn well written. Even those who aren't fans of Molly Weasley will be moved by this story, as each chapter is dedicated to a different Weasley child, and each is just as touching and tear-jerking as the rest.

Title: Weasley Wedding Woes

Ship: Hermione Granger & Ron Weasley
Summary: On her wedding night, Hermione discovers that the best cure for a hangover is a heaping dose of sarcasm. Based on a true story.
Excerpt: Hermione Granger was never distracted when it came to love though. She had known whom she wanted since the tender age of fourteen. Sadly, the object of her affection was thicker than a Percy Weasley approved cauldron bottom.
Reason: A very funny story of typical Weasley famiy high-jinks in which the twins and an oh-so-drunk Ron leave Hermione with a rather different than imagined wedding night.

Title: Muileach

Ship: Harry Potter & Ginny Weasley
Summary: Harry returns from the war only to find that everything he left behind is in pieces ...including Ginny's heart?
Excerpt: Love wasn’t one of his strong points,  that he could admit. He had very little experience with it, not only in the romantic sense, but in the family sense as well.  The first time he had taken a look at the Weasley family he had been reminded of all he had been missing, and it had made him jealous.
Reason: WhenThe-Boy-Who-Lived is too damn noble and leaves the girl he loves to go to war, what happens when the war is over and he wants to start again? He's going to have to work hard to break down the walls that shield his girl's heart.
