ENMU

Well looking on this community page it seems that not many have joined or at least posted in a long time. I am going to be a senior at Eastern and am looking to get involved more with school organizations. Dont know how many people are on here that would be involved and can let me know what is going on around Eastern. Also if anyone new to Eastern wants someone to talk to or wants to be friends let me know. Am on LJ at least once a day. Wont actually be getting back to the area until the end of August, as I suspect the rest of the student body wont be as well. Anyways, just saying hi to everyone out there. :)

I might be a little bit into this, but I can't imagine what a child or parent of a child would feel like if that child was molested and the offender not captured. So...that's why I'm doing this. Please copy and repost and try to spread the word. 2 men have already been captured!

Okay I don’t guess I am getting to go to Eastern at all. They keep on saying my dad makes too much money. So much for be borderline on everything. I am tiring real hard to save my money up but I have plans. I have sat and sat tying to figure a way to get out of where I am and finish school. I am only getting a 1000 a semester. So much for being white as well.

I have talked and talked to the Finical aid office and told them we don’t have the money after bills, and my brother messing up and costing a lot of money. I have even told them that there is not enough money when me and my twin are going at the same time, after bills are paid. I have a letter of appeal but it wont do any good. They keep on telling me to take out loans. Cant. My dad refuses and I know it I want to take them out I can, but I don’t either. If only they could see the crap hole I live in and what I have to deal with, I know it wont make a difference.

I am getting tired, all of the scholarships I have applied to I did not receive a one. I don’t know what to do I just keep on crying and bitter. I have tried to explain to them everything but they say what you are awarded is what you are awarded. I have told them I am on high blood pressure do to all the BS I have to deal with. If I don’t get out of here I am just going to get sicker. No one should have to go through what I have to. I need help there is noting out there am finding.

I will find out sometime this week if I will even be going to ENMU. I hope I can. I am tired of waiting to know if I will ever get to finish school. I have already talked to my dad and he said if I don’t get enough I won’t be going at all. This made me hurt even more. This will be the third year I have tired to leave and finish school. I hope I can go. If I don’t I know this time I will really fall apart. I am stressed to the maxed and he doesn’t understand, no one understands. O well I guess if I have to wait I wait with a real heavy heart. I have applied to scholarships, but I don’t receive any, and here are the other problems:

First time college student
I am a twin with my sisters attending as well
Single parent household
Brother ruining everything costing money
No one out there to give a hoot
White

All I got to say is the finical aid office better hurry up.

Hi Everyone!!

It has happened: I've become the new moderator of the only ENMU community, which I'm pretty excited about. I have some layout modifications planned and I'm trying to promote the community through my friends and their friends and so on. Hopefully it will be passed around and more and more people will join. That'll be super-grand. So, are you wondering who I am yet? Good.

My name is Chris Glaser and I am currently a sophomore here at ENMU. I am majoring in Music Education and Music Performance. My primary instrument is the euphonium, which I play in both the ENMU Symphonic Band and the ENMU Wind Symphony. I have been principal of the Wind Symphony for two semesters. I'm basically a music freak who's favorite genres extend from one end of the spectrum to the other. Just go with it.

So, without further adeu, this first post from me is the announcement of the Wind Symphony concert tomorrow night. Those that are interested PLEASE come:

Okay everyone, I've had enough of ENMU, so this is going to be my last semester. This also means I will have no reason to keep this community. If anyone wants to mod this community just comment and I will add your sn to the list of moderators. If no one wants to be mod then I will just delete this community come the end of the semester. I think I lost my watch at the POPS rehearsal (or maybe at Wal Mart) saturday, so if you guys hear about anyone who found a watch there could you please let me know? Or maybe just let them know. It's very important to me. Thanks a bunch,

Hi I am going to transfer to ENMU this spring. I have been tring to go to a four year school for two years now, but no money no nothing. I am attending NMJC and will finaly have my AAS in Graphic Design. I will be staying home and taking online classes for now. I dont get enough money were I can stay in the dorms. Now that I am registerd and have to send in my fincal aid stuff I have to make an appoiment to plan out my classes. What fun the fartest I have driven was back from Andrews Tx. with my late mother and that was like four years ago. I have to talk to the old man more about me needing to go talk to the advisor. He dont listen very well.
