spin state

[′spin ‚stāt]
(quantum mechanics)
Condition of a particle in which its total spin, and the component of its spin along some specified axis, have definite values; more precisely, the particle's wave function is an eigenfunction of the operators corresponding to these quantities.

From these results we can understand that, in pure limit, anomalous Hall conductivity in a single spin state (spin-up or spin-down) and in single valley ([+ or -]) is quantized (depends only on fundamental unit of conductivity).
In the calculation of [H.sup.2.sub.0], we take the sum of the contribution from these two spin states, unless we discuss a certain spin state as the final state.
For an arbitrary total angular momentum j, and singlet case of the total spin state, (2) leads to one equation:

The longest paper in this collection shows how the intermediate spin state in iron(III) porphyrin complexes can be increased in six coordinate mixed systems and in the cytochrome c' model where only one imidazole molecule coordinates to the iron(III) ion.
