Summary: Potter reminisces about firsts.
Potter smiled briefly at the memory of his first ever birthday cake. “While Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon were arguing with Hagrid, my greedy cousin grabbed a fork and started eating my cake,” he said, mouth drawing down in a frown.
“Did you hex him?” asked Draco, hands clenching into fists.
“I didn’t know I was a wizard,” Potter replied with a nonchalant shrug. “I had no idea magic existed, although I was beginning to wonder. Hagrid saved the day,” he added. “He magicked a pig’s tail onto Dudley’s arse. That’s why I’ve always considered Hagrid my first real friend.”
