“He’ll be partaking of tea and crumpets in no time,” Narcissa said, smiling fondly at AJ.
“I just hope he’s not a picky eater,” Potter said. He gave another small piece of biscuit to AJ.
“Draco was a terribly fussy eater.”
“Mum!” Draco protested.
“It’s true,” she insisted. “I had to bribe you with a sickle for every vegetable you ate.”
Draco smiled. “I’d amassed a tidy sum in my Gringott’s vault before I received my Hogwarts letter.”
“Slytherin,” muttered Potter.
“What of you, Harry?” asked Narcissa. “Were you a picky eater?”
“I was grateful for any food I got.”
